So the other day I decided that it was time for a new bronzer/ contour and I did a bit of hunting and read a load of reviews and one in particular stood out- Hoola. I love Benefit products and had heard a lot about it before so I thought it was time to give it a go. It is a little more pricey that high street products but is still relatively cheap compared to brands such as Kevyn Aucoin or Estee Lauder.
First off is the packaging; it’s very cute and it comes with it’s own brush. I’m by sure a cardboard box is ideal if I’m going to be packing it in makeup bags for holidays but it does look quite sturdy. The little mirror inside is also helpful if you’re not doing your makeup at home (i.e. you’re fab at running late in the mornings like me).
Secondly, the first thing I found out is that a little goes a long way. You only need to dust the brush with a light coating and you’ll be fine. I’m not sure I like the brush for all over the face but for cheekbones it is pretty good.
It blends really well and isn’t orange even on my pale skin, one of the biggest issues I have with finding a bronzer.
So would I recommend? Definitely!
I’m really unsure on this! I bought the miniature, but on my skin it does come out a tad orange… Maybe it’s just me? X
The only issue I’ve noticed is that if you put a bit too much on it becomes a little cakey but the colour is fine for me x
I hope to someday try this after I work on my other bronzers!
